Who we are: Bobb LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, d/b/a SteppersLife, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801-6317 ("SteppersLife," "we," "us").
Scope: how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information across stepperslife.com, classes.stepperslife.com, and our apps (the "Services"). The Services are offered in the United States only.
1. A quick note on roles
When you buy from or interact with an independent Organizer, Instructor, or Store Seller ("Providers"), they also handle your information as independent controllers for their own purposes. This Policy covers SteppersLife's practices. Providers' practices are their own responsibility.
2. Information we collect
2.1 You give us: name, email, phone, password or third-party sign-in identifier, profile details and photo, community posts and media, event/class listings (if you're a Provider), messages, support requests, and survey/feedback responses.
2.2 From transactions: what you bought/enrolled in, order history, amounts, and billing/shipping details where applicable. We do not collect or store your full payment-card number, expiration date, or security code — those go directly to our payment processor (Stripe). We may receive a token and the last four digits and card brand for reference.
2.3 Automatically: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, and identifiers from cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookie Notice).
2.4 From others: Providers whose events/classes you attend, third-party sign-in providers, and analytics/advertising partners, consistent with their terms.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to: (a) create and operate your account; (b) process and facilitate transactions between you and Providers; (c) deliver tickets, enrollments, and community features; (d) provide support; (e) send transactional messages (receipts, reminders, changes); (f) send marketing where permitted, with opt-out; (g) personalize and improve the Services; (h) maintain safety, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms; and (i) comply with law. We do not use the Services to make solely-automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How we share information
4.1 With Providers whose events, classes, or items you buy or interact with, so they can fulfill and service your transaction.
4.2 With service providers/processors who work on our behalf (payment processing, hosting, email/SMS delivery, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention) under contracts limiting their use of the data.
4.3 With payment processors to complete transactions.
4.4 For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
4.5 Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, information may transfer as a business asset.
4.6 With your direction or consent, including third-party integrations you connect.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, analytics, and (where used) advertising. See the Cookie Notice for details and choices, including how we respond to browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
6. How we store and protect information
6.1 We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data. No method is perfectly secure.
6.2 Payment security: card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
6.3 Information is stored and processed in the United States.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for a reasonable period to meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and fraud-prevention needs, after which we delete or de-identify it.
8. Your U.S. state privacy rights
8.1 Depending on your state of residence (which may include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to: (a) know/access the personal information we hold about you; (b) correct inaccuracies; (c) delete your personal information; (d) obtain a portable copy; (e) opt out of targeted advertising, the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and certain profiling; and (f) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
8.2 California (CCPA/CPRA): in addition, you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of recipients, for the preceding 12 months, and you may limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable.
8.3 How to exercise: submit a request by emailing [email protected]. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days, extendable). You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization.
8.4 Appeals: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing [email protected] with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.
9. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information (COPPA). Users under 18 may use the Services only through a supervising adult's account. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Marketing choices
You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or account settings; transactional messages (receipts, event/class changes) will still be sent. For SMS, reply STOP.
11. Third-party links and services
The Services link to and integrate third-party sites and services (including Providers, payment processors, maps, and social platforms). Their privacy practices govern their handling of your information.
12. If you are not one of our users
We may still process limited information about people who do not have an account — for example, if a Provider adds you to a guest list or you appear in content a Provider uploads. The rights in this Policy apply to that information too; contact [email protected] to exercise them.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date; material changes will be notified where required.
