Provider of the Services: Bobb LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, d/b/a SteppersLife, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801-6317 ("SteppersLife," "we," "us," or "our").
Covered properties: stepperslife.com, classes.stepperslife.com, and any SteppersLife mobile or web application, and all features within them (collectively, the "Services").
1. Agreement to these Terms
1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding contract between you and SteppersLife. By creating an account, buying a ticket, enrolling in a class, posting content, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1.2 If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
1.3 Additional terms apply to specific roles and features and are incorporated by reference: the Seller & Organizer Agreement (for anyone who sells or offers anything through the Services), the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, the Community Guidelines, and the Cookie Notice. If a role-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms for that role, the role-specific agreement controls for that subject.
2. Who may use the Services
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. Individuals under 18 may use the Services only through a parent or legal guardian's account and with that adult's supervision.
2.2 The Services are offered in and directed to the United States only. You may not use the Services from, or to transact in, jurisdictions where doing so would be unlawful.
2.3 We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access to anyone, at any time, consistent with Section 16.
3. What SteppersLife is — and is not
3.1 SteppersLife is a community technology platform for the steppin' dance community. Through the Services, independent third parties ("Providers") offer things to you: event Organizers sell event tickets; class Instructors offer instruction and enrollments; and, when enabled, Store Sellers offer goods and merchandise. The Services also host community content that users post.
3.2 SteppersLife is not the Organizer, Instructor, Seller, promoter, or producer of any event, class, or item offered through the Services, and is not a party to the contract of sale, admission, or enrollment between you and a Provider. Each Provider is the merchant and seller of record for what it offers. See the Seller & Organizer Agreement and Section 6 below.
3.3 We do not create, verify, endorse, or guarantee any event, class, item, or user content, or any Provider's identity, statements, quality, safety, legality, or ability to deliver. Your dealings with any Provider are solely between you and that Provider.
3.4 Commerce/Store status. The Store and general commerce features may be built but are not active until we certify and enable them. Where a feature is not yet enabled, the provisions of these Terms governing that feature take effect when the feature is turned on and do not create any obligation before then.
4. Your account
4.1 You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4.2 You may sign in using a third-party identity provider (for example, Google or Apple). Their terms govern that sign-in.
4.3 One person may not maintain multiple accounts to evade a suspension, and accounts are not transferable without our consent.
5. Buying tickets, enrolling in classes, and (when enabled) buying goods
5.1 When you buy a ticket, enroll in a class, or buy an item, you are contracting with the Provider, not with SteppersLife. Your payment is charged directly to the Provider's connected payment account (see Section 7). SteppersLife facilitates the transaction and charges a service fee; SteppersLife does not hold your payment for the Provider's items and does not take title to anything the Provider sells.
5.2 Prices and fees. The price set by the Provider, any SteppersLife service fee, and any applicable taxes are shown before you complete a purchase. By completing the purchase you authorize the total charge.
5.3 Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Provider's own policy and the Refund Policy. The Provider — not SteppersLife — sets and honors refunds and handles cancellations. SteppersLife does not set refund policies and does not hold funds from which to issue refunds. The SteppersLife service fee is non-refundable except where the refund results from a SteppersLife platform fault; see Section 6 of the Refund Policy.
5.4 Tickets and enrollments are a limited license to attend the event or access the class, subject to the Provider's rules and any venue rules. They are not securities or currency and may not be resold except as the Provider and applicable law permit.
5.5 You are responsible for reviewing event/class details, dates, locations, age restrictions, and the Provider's policies before you buy.
5.6 Transfers and validity. A ticket or enrollment may be transferred to another person only if the Provider's rules and applicable law allow it; SteppersLife does not guarantee any transfer. A ticket or enrollment that has been refunded, voided, or issued for a canceled event or class is no longer valid and may not be used for entry or access. The Provider is responsible for verifying validity. SteppersLife is not responsible for tickets or enrollments acquired outside the Services or for any fraudulent, duplicate, or invalidated ticket or enrollment.
6. Relationship between attendees, Providers, and SteppersLife
6.1 The Provider is the merchant and seller of record. For every paid ticket, enrollment, or item, the Provider is solely responsible for the event, class, or item; for all customer service; for refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks; and for all tax and legal obligations relating to what it sells.
6.2 SteppersLife's role is limited to providing the platform and payment facilitation and charging a service fee. SteppersLife makes no representation or warranty regarding any event, class, item, or Provider.
6.3 Disputes with a Provider. If you have a problem with an event, class, or item, contact the Provider first. SteppersLife is not obligated to mediate, but we may, in our discretion, assist. Nothing here limits rights you may have against the Provider or under applicable consumer-protection law.
7. Payments and payment processors
7.1 Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, currently Stripe. By transacting, you also agree to the applicable processor's terms.
7.2 We never store your full card number, expiration, or security code. Card data is collected and handled by the payment processor. See the Privacy Policy.
7.3 Direct-charge model. Your payment for a Provider's item is charged to the Provider's connected processor account. SteppersLife receives only its service fee. The Provider — not SteppersLife — is the party the processor and card networks treat as the merchant for that sale.
7.4 Taxes. Where tax applies, it is calculated by the payment processor's tax tooling and shown at checkout. Responsibility for collecting and remitting tax is allocated in the Seller & Organizer Agreement.
8. Your content and the license you give us
8.1 "User Content" means anything you post, upload, or share through the Services — community posts, comments, photos, video, reviews, messages, event or class listings, images, and profile information.
8.2 You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant SteppersLife a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and display), publicly display and perform, distribute, and otherwise use your User Content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Services. This license ends when you delete the User Content, except (a) for content others have shared or saved, (b) for backup and legal-retention copies kept for a reasonable period, and (c) as needed to operate the Services.
8.3 Your promises about User Content. You represent that you own or have the rights to your User Content and that it does not violate law, these Terms, or the Community Guidelines, and does not infringe anyone's rights.
8.4 Feedback you send us about the Services may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
8.5 Moderation. We may, but are not obligated to, review, remove, or restrict User Content or listings that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or that create legal or safety risk. See the Community Guidelines for how moderation works.
9. Rules of conduct
9.1 You agree not to: (a) break the law or facilitate illegal activity; (b) post prohibited content as defined in the Community Guidelines; (c) infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; (d) misrepresent yourself, an event, a class, or an affiliation; (e) commit fraud or payment abuse; (f) scrape, spider, or harvest data except via interfaces we expressly provide and permit; (g) interfere with, overload, or attempt to breach the security of the Services; (h) circumvent fees, access controls, or ticket/enrollment limits; (i) upload malware; or (j) resell or exploit the Services except as expressly permitted.
9.2 The full, non-exhaustive list of prohibited content and conduct is in the Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms.
10. Intellectual property in the Services
10.1 The Services, including SteppersLife's software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the "SteppersLife" name and marks, are owned by SteppersLife or its licensors and are protected by law. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
11. Copyright and DMCA
11.1 We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.
11.2 Designated Copyright Agent. Send DMCA notices to: [email protected].
11.3 A valid notice must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). Counter-notices are handled under § 512(g). Full procedure is in the Community Guidelines / Copyright section.
12. Third-party services and links
The Services may link to or integrate third-party sites, content, or services (including payment processors, map providers, and social platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and their terms and privacy practices govern your use of them.
13. Disclaimers
13.1 THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13.2 We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any event, class, item, Provider, or User Content is accurate, safe, lawful, or as described. Your interactions with Providers and other users are at your own risk. Features we label as beta, preview, or experimental are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and carry no warranty.
13.3 Assumption of risk at in-person events and classes. Attending an in-person event or class — including any dance, fitness, or physical-activity class offered through the Services — involves inherent risks, including the risk of illness, bodily injury, disability, or death, and the risk of lost or damaged property. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks when you attend. Because SteppersLife is not the Organizer, Instructor, or host of any event or class and is not present at it, SteppersLife is not responsible for what happens there, and any claim arising from an in-person event or class is against the Provider, not SteppersLife.
14. Release
Because SteppersLife is only the platform and is not a party to the contract between a buyer and a Provider, you release SteppersLife and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim, demand, or damages arising out of or connected to any dispute between you and a Provider, between you and another user, or between you and any third party relating to an event, class, item, ticket, or enrollment, or your use of the Services. This release covers both known and unknown claims relating to such disputes.
15. Limitation of liability
15.2 SteppersLife's TOTAL LIABILITY for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the total SteppersLife service fees you paid to SteppersLife in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
15.3 Because SteppersLife does not sell the events, classes, or items, claims about them are against the Provider, not SteppersLife.
15.4 Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases the limitations apply to the extent permitted.
16. Suspension and termination
16.1 You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.
16.2 Deleting your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting [email protected]. When you delete your account we will close it and delete or de-identify your personal information, except for records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes (see the Privacy Policy). Deleting your account does not cancel obligations already incurred — for example, a Provider remains responsible for events, classes, or items already sold, and completed purchases remain subject to the applicable refund policy.
16.3 We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content or listings, or cancel transactions if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the law, or to protect users, Providers, the Services, or third parties.
16.4 Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6, 8.2–8.4, 10, 13–15, 17, 18, and 19) survive termination.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SteppersLife and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Services, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms or the law, or (d) if you are a Provider, anything you sell or offer.
18. Dispute resolution; governing law; venue
Dispute resolution; governing law; venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and each party consents to their jurisdiction and waives objection to that venue. YOU AND STEPPERSLIFE EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
19. General
19.1 Changes. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and, where required, notified to you. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance.
19.2 Entire agreement; severability; no waiver; assignment. These Terms plus the incorporated policies are the entire agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
19.3 Notices and contact. Legal notices: [email protected], or Bobb LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801-6317, Attn: Legal. Platform or technical support: [email protected].
19.4 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control.
